Formation
Create Some Time and Space to Encounter God
St. Paul's adopted this Charter for Lifelong Christian Formation in July 2009 as a parish-wide commitment to a life of being formed as Christians. The Charter begins "We are committed to growth in the knowledge, service and love of God as followers of Christ." That pretty much sums up our life as Christians. Beyond worship and service, each Christian is called to exercise her or his faith so that it can grow and flourish. Formation helps to serve that purpose by giving us time to encounter God through dialogue, learning, meditation, and reflection.

Adults

On Sundays after Eucharist, adults are currently studying Jesus Was an Episcoplian... And You Can Be One, Too by Fr. Chris Yaw. This book calls us, in a winsome and credible fashion, to take a stand with Jesus in a complex, confusing, violent world. Chris Yaw assures us that to do so is not only “meet, right, and our bounden duty,” but can also be fun.
Adults are also invited to help Fr. Steve in the Sunday School.

On Saturday mornings, an advanced course in Anglican Traditions is meeting. We are covering the story of Anglican Christianity from Celtic times to the present.
